Shakespeare Theatre Company 2026
Event, motion and environmental graphics for the 2026 Gala from Shakespeare Theatre Company.
Year: 2026
The 2026 Gala—All the World’s a Stage—celebrates 40 years of Shakespeare Theatre Company.
STC commissioned the creation of a full visual identity and show package for the gala. Honouring awardees Christine Baranski and Wendell Pierce — a New Orleans native — the identity draws from the city’s vibrancy and distinctive ironwork patterns, translating them into a bold, contemporary graphic language.
Through layering and repetition, these abstracted forms create a system of folds and ripples, echoing the opening and closing of theatre curtains. The result is expressive, rhythmic and celebratory, balancing elegance with energy.
The system is designed as a flexible framework across large-scale projection mapping, digital screens and printed materials. It scales from immersive architectural moments to refined, tactile applications, ensuring a cohesive and dynamic experience throughout the event.
